Vette(s): 1970 Roadster
After several C4's and C5's, I decided to part with my last (Z16 Z06 CE) and look for a C3.

An internet search turned up a 70 Roadster at a classic car dealer in Dallas. The car had been consigned by the family of a 91 year old lady (reportedly with dementia) that purchased it in March 71 from Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas. The VIN production indicates it was #13198 produced June 24 1970. Reportedly the car came from a dealer in the Northeast. I would love to know if I am the 2nd or 3rd owner but the family doesn't know and the dealer is still in business but wouldn't or couldn't help.

I flew to Dallas and purchased the car and drove back to Oklahoma.

I didn't really have a plan but have been tinkering with it for a couple of weeks. I took it by a local Corvette shop for a closer inspection.

Turns out about the only major components that have been replaced (argh!) are the radiator (aluminum) and carburetor (from a 78).

As I said, I didn't have a plan for the car, just wanted something from my era.
