Welcome

Tell us some more about your car and how did you come up with that handle?

Vette(s): 1980 with 94 LT1 and T56 swap
My car is a well loved yellow 1980. I purchased it 17 years ago, almost on accident, with the intention of reselling it. It was a little to far gone to reasonably consider flipping for a profit and, I had a recently totalled 1994 Firebird Formula so, I knew what had to be done. After selling off the engine and trans from the Corvette, I proceeded to swap in the LT1 and T56 out of the Formula. Due to a new job and subsequent relocation, the swap was finished a mere 7 years later! To be fair, a lot was refurbished and or modified in that time, including building a hybrid C3/C4 rear suspension. Currently it sits, awaiting a new fuel tank to replace the leaky original. I'm hoping that becoming active in the Corvette community will motivate me to get it out on the road again.

Great story do you have any pictures?  Be careful on how big they are when you load them some people on the registry have slow connections.

I do have pics. When I get a few spare moments, I'll get them put up.
