I used to have a cat named Corky.

Welcome aboard.  Just one question.

Who is the other part of the twisted pair?

Vette(s): 1978 L-48 Silver/Red

I get that a lot..."Oh! My aunt has a dachsund named Corky!" Either that, or..."Like that retarded kid on 'Life Goes On'!"

Twistdpair is a reference to CAT5 network cable...I'm a computer guy. The other half of the human twistdpair is my wife, Claudia.

Anyhoo, thanks for the warm welcome. Just bought a Silver 78 L-48, haven't even picked it up yet (this weekend). Just getting a jump on some insider tipes and tricks. It needs a little TLC, but is mostly solid. Frame is nice, 50K miles, runs great, new exhaust, calipers, tires, intake manifold, some other stuff. Has a reasonably crappy paint job, though and a tear in the driver's leather. Looking to get it to clean condition for the summer. Not a show car...but maybe someday.

I can relate to the twisted pair.  We use them in computer cars for bus communication.  I tell my students when I refer to twisted pair, I am not talking about Clinton and Lewenski.
