Thanks so much guys for the warm welcome!! 

Unfortunately I do not own a vette myself but I will be doing the work for a friend of mine.  He just bought a 69 Stingray convertible 350/350 4 speed that needs plenty of work.  I live in WI and will be bringing the car to my garage to perform hopefully a complete body off restoration.  He is undecided yet if he wants to completely restore it or just clean it up a bit and make a good driver out of it.  

I'll be here periodically for much needed info.  Thanks in advance!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
