Thanks for the kind wishes. I picked up the car today and drove it home. If there was any doubt that I had bought the right car it was dispelled as a ten year old boy rolled down the passenger window on a Corolla as we wre stopped at a light and said"What a beautiful car Mister" I'll post some pics as soon as I can.
