Is there a way to upload a picture of my Vette without using an HTML address? I'd like to upload it directly from my computer.

Welcome to C4VR!
To upload pics from your computer OR to insert a URL, just click on the Image Upload icon
on the top of the post box. In the window that opens up, on the lower left corner, you will see a "Browse" button to click on to upload.
You can also upload pics to your "Personal File Folder", located under the "My Account" button.
Please be mindful of image sizes....LARGE images skew the pages, and are painful for those on dial-up.

In addition to what Joel said above, you can also go into Your Profile and click the "Upload an Image" link under the "Vette Picture URL" box. That will walk you through uploading a picture and it will resize it and help you add it to your profile.
Just make sure that you enter your Password on "Current Password" link near the top of the form, and click the "Update Profile" button at the bottom of the form when you are done.
