Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome, What year C3 do you have?  How did you get it and what is the condition?

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.....

I currently own a 1965 Corvette convertible:
- in original unrestored condition, including all working T3 head lamps.
- California Black plates last registered in 1996
- 4 speed, 4.11 posi
- 327/365 HP
- Hard top included

It needs some cosmetic work and I'm sure a mechanical refresh wouldnt hurt either..... but still a really fun car to cruise in.

I joined the C3 registry to gain more knowledge before purchasing a 1970 Convertible I'm looking at.   The owner claims it is a LT1.  Has numerous documentation including Protect-O-Plate but does not have the build sheet.
- Vin numbers all match
- Dates codes correct for car build date
- Non power steering
- Non power brakes
- 4 speed (M21) 4.11 posi rear
- 6500 redline tach
- Radio Delete
- Hard top included
- 27,690 original miles

-  So far everything seems to add up, but how can i tell if it is True or a fake?

Any help would be appreciated.

While I do not have an answer for you someone here will!
I just want to suggest that if you don't get an answer in this thread, post the same info/question in the appropriate forum.  People tend to overlook the Welcome forum thinking there aren't questions, just a bunch of "hellos."

Good luck!
