Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Carey
Tell us a little more about yourself. How did you come to own it? What are your plans for it?

Thank you!
I have been a long time corvette dreamer...ever since seeing my neighbors 1963 at 10 years old and watching corvette summer...I was hooked. After retiring from the Navy and planting roots. I purchased "Belle" about 3 month's ago. What started as "checking" the emergency brake drag, has turned into an all out re-do of Belle's rearend. Swing arms. rear diff , Caliper rebuilds and new lines and cables. I guess you can say the vette bug has bit.

Weclome!
Hmmm, I don't think I've ever heard that story before

It's a great feeling getting it on the road and getting the first thumbs up
and wave from another vette owner.

Good luck and ask all the questions you want. There are lots of knowledgeable people and folks who have gone through the rebuild/fix up process on this site.
Dave C..........My mantra: I can not be bought!! Long and short term leases available.
In the words of Zora Arkus-Duntov "Is your seat belt fastened? Alright, Let's go"
Yeah, I know, Shut up Dave.

I think another name for a C3 is money pit. Love to drive mine
I finally found someone that could figure out why it would not pass smog. It took 2 Corvette shops and 2 specialty shops to find enough of the problems to get it to pass again. Still have a couple but at least it is on the road after 16 months.
