  Thanks for the welcome. I got this 88 Vette in a trade and I like it in spite of some problems with starting. I'm afraid to get too far from home until I figure out a few problems. The PO didn't know much about the car but it is a repaint in very dark purple. I think it has aftermarket heads , perimeter bolts not center bolt.  Digital dash works but is very dark. Drives great just wants to shut off after starting, will keep running after third try. I'm retired and old as dirt so I work slow but I'll get things figured out with a little help from new friends here at c4 Vette Registry.
