I have a question for you and your forum members. I have the oppurtunity to pick up a mid Seventies Stingray (will have more etails later in the week). The car has been sitting outside uncovered for a long time. My question is, where are the common problem areas on C3 vettes I should check? I plan on a full frame off restoration, but I am not familiar with Vette parts pricing and vehicle pricing. I will post pics of the car where it sits and more info later.
Any advice would be great.

Well Nathan you have came to the right site to get help and HONEST answers. I didn't find this site until after I bought mine. I am not that knowledgeable on vettes (or anything really) But the guys (and Girls) on this site have a lot of experience and they will be up front and honest with you. One thing to think about is buying one that has already been restored, it will more than likely be cheaper in the long run, less stress full, and you will be able to drive it right away. just my $.02

Look at some of the previous posts on buying a Vette.
There are check lists and loads of things to look for.
Price depends on too many factors to make a general statement, but all things being equal, mid seventies are priced lower than other C3s. Verts are generally higher than coupes.
Make sure you really look it over good if it has been out in the weather for long. A rusted frame will need a lot of work.
