As one Crossfire owner to another it is an interesting system. You will want to purchase the GM maintenance manual. The maintenance manuals for multiple years does not cover Crossfire or lots of other items on our 1982 Corvettes.
It is a little high on the price but it give you a picture of the front cover.
Ebay has some also http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_nkw=1982+82+Corvette+Factory+Assembly+Shop+Manual+C3+NEW+&_itemId=130296188448
New reprints $115 used from $45 your choice but you will need it. Let us know of any specific help we can be. The best results normally achieved by making each request an individual post.
Good luck and have fun.
Mick I recommend you amend your profile to put in the car you have and your town and state you could be next door (almost) to some help.
