Vette(s): 1974 Corvette Convertible 454-4 speed Red / Tan leather / Tan top Frame-on restored driver. SOLD ON DECEMBER 20, 2014 to KCMotorCo.
Thank you Adam.  The longer I own this car and the more research I do on it, the more I realized it was a fairly rare car (although C3 had a long run time!!) with it being a convertible, big block, close ratio 4-speed car, no A/C.  I didn't realize when I bought it that it was the LAST year for Big Block Corvettes....what a milestone!!  So now my "daily driver" has become a "drive only on nice days driver" and with it having all numbers matching drivetrain, I take it pretty easy and enjoy my top-down cruises.  Hope to enjoy some time and information on this website and thanks again for the welcome!!

Thank you Larry....these forums are a good place to meet people with the same interest and share ideas and problem solutions with guys who have "been there.....done that!"

I see you are located in Wichita, KS......it was my home for 10 years back in the 70's.  I lived at 13 & West Street behind the Dillons grocery store and just down the road from O. K. Elementary School and the TV Broadcast Station.  I drove OTR for Watkins Steel on 2nd Street down on the river (out of business now) until my wife and I decided to move back to KC to help elderly parents.  Had a lot of fun in Wichita and I still miss NuWay Burgers, Felipes Mexican, and Angelos Italian restaurants!!! (and sometimes even Taco Tico!)  My daughter was a pastor down in Mulvane for several years but has since moved and I haven't been back to Wichita for quite awhile now.

Thanks again for the welcome and we'll talk to ya later!!

Welcome to the Shark Tank Greg.
As we discovered, we share a slight connection with your big block.
Good to know it is being well taken care of.
Much continued happiness with her.
