Thanks! I'm new to C3's - hoping to get info on parts, repair, etc. as well as meeting forum members who love Corvettes.

Thanks Larry,

Here is a video of my new C3 - I bought her 2 weeks ago, trying to learn all I can.

The engine and susp are not stock - I know she has an aluminum intake, Summit Distributor, MSD Ignition, Stahl Headers, M21 close ration trans, 370 rear - possibly upgraded to 390 (unknown at this point) , Cam (unknown what type), the carb is a Holley (unknown what type) # on it is 6R 6931B.

I have two Order Copies and the paperwork from the original and 2nd owner - I am the 3rd owner.

I have a few things to repair/replace - but she runs great and I can drive her off/on while I bring her back.
Take Care!
Jim

What part of the country do you hail from Jim. Great looking car by the way. You came to the right place for c3 info. Great bunch of people here, every one is friendly and no questions are too silly. Just pick the right forum catagory and post away. We hope you'll like what you find and stick with us.

I'm from the East Coast - Somerdale, NJ (about 10 minutes from the bridges into Philadelphia, PA)

Thanks for the compliment on the car; I just bought her about 2 weeks ago - working on minor mechanical issues first - then I'll start with the cosmetics.

My goal is to make her as close to original without going fanatical. I was lucky enough to obtain two Order Copies for the car and most of the documentation from the two prior owners. The engine is original but the vin is not on the pad as the engine was bored 30 over. The date code on the block is too close in relation to the trim tag and vin# that it's 99.9% certain to be the original engine.

I'm learning alot from reading posts, researching and talking with people familiar with C3's and look forward to talking with everyone.

Take Care!
Jim
