I'm new to this so when I supplied the information regarding my "81 I really didn't fill in any engine information since all I know is that it's a small block 350. Not even sure if the colors are original although I think they are. Is there a way to find out with the VIN number?

Sorry Jerry, I don't believe the VIN covers block size but no worries. They only put one motor in the '81s, the L81 350ci, a copy of the L82 with a computer controlled carb (but just at idle speeds). Welcome to the forum. I'm an '81 fan myself.

Thanks for the reply. At least now I know my engine size. Anyway to find out what the original color scheme for the interior was. Right now its red with the seats showing 2 tones of red.

Since I'm not mechanically inclined all the work has to be done by someone. Right now I've located a mechanic who owns Precision Corvette in Ft Lauderdale. He started on some brake work.
