Hi! Thanks for the very gracious intro. I did have a question, on the 1996 vette the exhaust tips are painted a flat black which i think after a while starts to flake off from heat or age. Anyways, i wondering where you can get the correct paint or part number for it to redo this and do think it can be repainted with them still on the car seeing as though the tips are welded right onto the mufflers and can't be taken off? Thankyou in advance for your answers.  Greg!!

Welcome to C4VR, intmdt8r!!!
You should be able to paint the tips on the car, tho you might have to drop the rear hangers to get the tops of the tips.
As far as "correct" paint, I wouldn't know off-hand, but perhaps starting a thread in the "Fuel, Emissions, and Exhaust" forum would generate a few responses.
