Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

Did I read your info correct> You have three C3s? Or have you sold some and actually own less than three now. Post some pictures and tell us a little more about the ones that you currently own.

thanks for all the welcomes, this seems like a great site!!!!!!!!! i have only one now, its a 74 conv, 454 auto. i bought this car when i was 19 and have had it ever since ( even through two divorces ) i have also own a 68 witch i sold, a 73 turbo charged 350, sold that to a buddy, then i bought another 73 350 t-tops auto, for 2,000 rebuilted it from the ground up,and gave it to my son, at a cost of about 10g's---- on the 74 i have taken the body off and put all new back on, took the motor to performance products in rockford il. and had it redone! ( a 454 corvette should not be beat by a mustang!!!!!!!!! ) so thats why the engine got done!
i will post pics this spring when i get it out.

74 454 vette at age 19? NICE! I had a 74 RAM AIR IV Formula Firebird at age 19.....nothing but trouble I was. Those were fun times. I bet you have stories....

Yea i have a lot of stories, just funny the car i still have and the wives are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The insurance on the car at 19 was very high, i still remember that.

I still have my first car....and my first wife :-) ....I had hot rods and muscle cars but a vett is a little more special....particularly in those heady days of disco and blow. Rock star status?

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
