Cheers Larry and Adam,
Still working towards getting my first Corvette on the road over here in the UK, got the lights sorted now to comply with UK regs, working through the brakes to make sure I can stop the beast!
First rear wheel I removed to attack the hand brake revealed a leaky calliper so that was stripped and new seals fitted, the fluid I drained out settled into 2 layers murky black and clear so obviously hadn't been changed in a while, fortunately the callipers had been sleeved in the past so the new seals did the trick. New springs and mechanism freed off hopefully I can get the hand brake to work now.
Fitted a new master cylinder and next job is the front callipers after I can get my assistant into the garage to bleed the back brakes.
Just discovered the horn doesn't work so that's another job on the list.
Happy days!!

Best Regards
Graham

Welcome to C3VR, Grahamred70!!! Clap
We have other members from the UK here...you might even be close in location. Marcia & Jack(
Joanne) are good folks over there, and they are in the process of getting their '79 coupe back on the road. Tongue
