Thanks Adam. I have been doing lots of reading here the last two months. Learning quite a bit. One reason I bought the Vette was it has a 350 SBC figuring it couldn't be much different than other motors I have worked on in the past. Love the body style look of the car. I warned my wife when I bought the car Nov. 2004, "You will hate me now!" . I have been buying parts since day one. One goal I have for the car is to get 400 HP out of it, I think I am pretty close now.
Thanks, everybody for all the tips.

What have you done to modify the engine?
(some day, no strike that, October 2008 it turned red, still in progress!)

Ken-
The car now has....
Bored 30 over 355
XE268H cam
Harland Sharp Roller Rockers
Hooker Headers
Chambered Exhaust
Edelbrock RPM Heads 64cc
Edelbrock RPM Intake
Edelbrock 600cfm Carb.
Edelbrock Shocks
MSD Ignition
New Front End
Composite Rear Spring
I can see a lot more improvements still need to be made but I can safetly drive it now. I am looking into the rear end this weekend. Basically I am trying to build a strong running car, I might give to my son someday. I restore Antique Chevys as a hobby. But have never altered a car before. I just believe the 1975 Stingray SHOULD NOT have been - 200 HP. ALL Corvettes should have some HP. I have a Totally original '31 Chevy Five Window Coupe ( still in project) 90 HP. I hope to give to my daughter. Still working on an Idea for a car for my wife.
By the way I have used some of your advise in the past. The people in this forum seem really open to helping others.

Welcome to the SHARK POND
Sounds like an awesome 75 you are building.
Be sure to post some pics when you get a chance.

I have to agree w/Tumarr on the carb choice. It may be OK for a while, but I'll bet you eventually go up a size, once you get everything else dialed in. Really sounds like a cool setup. It HAS to be better than a stock '75!!
Have fun swimmin' in 'The Pond'!
