thx-would like info on finding vin # on 78. Only place I can find it is on the door and it does not match my title. It has a 74 engine in it

Welcome aboard, Frank.
Original VIN on 1970-1982 is on the driver's side windshield post, about five inches from the bottom of the windshield and visible from the outside. Should be thirteen characters long and begin as "1Z87" (1978 coupe).
Decoding is pretty easy. Let us know what you find.
