I'd like to thank you all for the warm welcome! My C3 is a "77, in fair condition. Bought it from a friend who, in the few years he owned it,  only put about 500 miles on it. It's an L48 with TH350, unfortunately not numbers matching. the interior needs major work, but the new door panels came in boxes with the car. Took the car in September and have been doing some work on it; repairing the power windows (regulator gears stripped), new master cylinder and brake booster, tune-up, rear shocks, things like that. Waiting for the warm weather to really get working on it. Plan to install a set of side pipes that were given to me by a friend. Right now two major problems to fix: since repairing the window regulators, can't open or close the windows without opening the doors, and the telescoping steering wheel does not lock in position. Tilt locks, but not telescoping, so if you grab the wheel and pull, it comes up at you.  When I was a kid many, many years ago, I went to the New York car show and was introduced to the Mako Shark and since then always wanted a 'Vette, my son owns a 2012 convertible Sport Coupe and I fell in love with it. So when the opportunity presented itself, the rest is history. I hope to take advantage of the wealth of experience that the members of C3VR and hopefully add to that.
