Vette(s): 1981--Under Restoration

Sorry it took so long to get back to you!

At the moment, I am focusing on cosmetic restoration of this car.  It was neglected for many years and suffers from a number of "re-engineering" discrepancies.  The car is at the paint shop and should be ready by next month.  After that the seats will go to the upholsterer for new covers.  I am changing the interior from the silver color to dark blue.  I have new carpet and insulation for it.  A new dash is going in along with new weatherstripping and new t-top panels.  The stereo will be upgraded and I will replace the door panels.  Once all of that is finished (End of July) I will begin a suspension rebuild and possibly upgrade the brakes.  (Time and money are my main considerations. Especially the money!)

That's my direction in a nutshell.

Later,

Dave
