Vette(s): 1973 Orange Convertible

Thanks for the welcome.  Here is a picture of my C3.  It started life as a Classic white two top car.

It has an interesting history in that it was delivered new to the Warren GM tech center in September of 72, and remained unregistered for almost 10 years.  It was then bought by a doctor and remained in his family until 1993 when my father bought it.  It has been garage kept as long as we have owned it, and it was unfortunately not driven from 2002 until this past July when I took ownership and got it back running.

I have never really been able to gather much info on why it went to the proving grounds, or why it was never registered.  That is part of the reason I ended up here.  Also the car was orange when the doctor bought it, so the color change must have happened while it was at the tech center.

Looking forward to finding out more about it.

Matt
