Drive a 1980 L82, Black on Black, sorry no pictures but will post one soon, actual your the first one to ever ask so I hav'ent given it much thought in the past.  As for the Cougar, nope don't drive one, I live out West and spend allot of time hunting, so I guess thats were it came from, I also have a kid going to scholl over at WSU so I follow Cougar football by association.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

Sounds like a good reason for a Cougar.  I like the Black Tiger myself.  That's the high school myself, wife, and both daughters have (are) attending.

And yes, we always want pictures.

Welcome!

Anyone out there know of a web site for 1968-1980 VIN research, the early est I can find only will allow you to go back to 81 or 82.?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone......Just finished pulling the 350 out this evening and am either going to put in a built 350 or stroke 383, I'm kicking around the 700R4 deal and was wondering if anyone out there has made the conversion and what kind of hassels they went thru, I'm looking at having 375-425hp at the tires and dont want to gernade the tranny but that OD sure would be nice to have on the top end.  Any input sure would be appreciated.

Thanks

Cougar
