Hi and thanks... don't know much about it yet. Decided that it would be a great car to have as it reminded me of my parents' when i was a kid (same color exterior and interior). I wanted a fun car and this one was relatively inexpensive and in great shape. I'm working on it's HVAC vacuum system since the only thing that works is the hot air with the floor vents. Not sure what is wrong but I am having a good time figuring it out. So far, I have taken the dash board out of it and am checking all the vacuum lines to make sure all is good since I replaced the heat/AC head and that didnt fix anything

If you still have the dash out replace all of the light bulbs. The lights are dim enough when they are all working and it is a lot easier to do them all at one time.   I have a location that you can purchase lights from cheaper than an auto store.  I know I have seen another post on a good location also.  It was from one of the sponsor sites a I believe but I cannot remember which one as I was paid about $0.23 for each bulb and purchased a lifetime supply so to speak.
I think you will find that a copy of the shop manual will be the best buy you can make.  A lot of the universal repair manuals just do not cover the specifics of a given year.
I'm not sure I know how to make links work but if they do not you copy this to your internet browser.  The links will take you to some locations you can get a shop manual.   The first one is a CD version. I have a paper copy for my 82 but I'm also thinking of getting a CD version because it is searchable.  Not sure what format this is in but it does say searchable so I would guess it is a pdf.
This is an ebay listing for the paper manuals
