I would think that later in the production run would mean less problems and more improvements.
What has your parents' experience been over those 80K miles?

I have loved Vettes since I saw one when I was 5 years old!!
I'm 40 now.

( puchased in late '79 from 1st. owner).(production date 10/30/78)

I have been restoring the car in the waiting period! since 1982! a little at a time, I work for, Sony Digital Audio Disc Corp. making those cool things we all love to listen to,cd's\watch,dvd's\ and play, playstation games. Have been since,'85,( wooooh, 20yrs.),(where did the time go?) I work a, 4 on-4 off 12hr. rotation so I only have the 4 days off to spend on projects for her, real bummer!!, I love her soooo!!
(recieved the car and title in 2000!)
I guess it's true that, good things and CORVETTES come to those who wait!
In my case, to long!! And a lot of repairs , replaced parts and a lot of money later, (Thanks Eckler's!,) those guys are great!! (mostly, due to the fact that it just sat in the garage, un-touched and un-driven for a little over a year!)(better than out-side, I guess!!)???? Myself being the Corvette nut that I am, could not let this sweet car get ruined due to neglect!!! (LIKE THAT STUPID,PETER MAX FREAK)!!! that just let all of those beautiful Vettes ( one from each year '53-'89 ) ruin in a parking garage in New York???? I don't even want to get started on that issue!!

Some people just don't know what a blessing it is to have these cars!!!

These cars are awesome, (Thanks, Zora Duntov!!)and that's why this one will not be a statistic!!!
It's only money and ya can't take it with ya!! Wish we could take our Vettes though!!!! Hmmmm, I'll have to pray about that one!!!!!
Anyway,Thanks Again guys and (gals),(gals on a Vette registry, How cool is that)!!!!!?
Your fellow Vette fan!
