Thanks for the welcome everyone. I have a question for you guys. Is the 79 a Stingray? A lot of people who see it call it a Stingray and I was not sure.

"Stingray" was used from 1969 - 1976, and appeared on each of those model years. Now the term is generally used when talking about C3s.
