Thanks! I am happy to join. I am in the process of buying my first Vette. A 1974. I work for Mid America Motorworks as the Director of Fulfillment Operations so having a Corvette is only right! I have been looking for the right one for a long time and think I have found it.
The one I am looking to buy seems like a very good deal. My only concern on it is that when you "stomp" down on the accelerator to pass there is no "passing gear." It is a three speed auto. Is this normal or is there something I sould check?
I met several of your members at Corvette Funfest last September. One in particular stands out. I cannot remember his last name (please forgive me) but his first name is Scott. He has two C3s. One white and one red. I just saw him and his wife at Swapfest on May 5th. As always, it is great talking to people who love C3s! I always enjoy seeing Scott! (especially since we share the same name!)
You guys have an awesome site here and I look forward to seeing you again at Funfest! It is going to be an even better party this year!74scottb 2007-05-15 20:26:05
