Vette(s): 1974 White.
Thanks! I am happy to join. I am in the process of buying my first Vette. A 1974. I work for Mid America Motorworks as the Director of Fulfillment Operations so having a Corvette is only right! I have been looking for the right one for a long time and think I have found it.

The one I am looking to buy seems like a very good deal. My only concern on it is that when you "stomp" down on the accelerator to pass there is no "passing gear." It is a three speed auto. Is this normal or is there something I sould check?

I met several of your members at Corvette Funfest last September. One in particular stands out. I cannot remember his last name (please forgive me) but his first name is Scott. He has two C3s. One white and one red. I just saw him and his wife at Swapfest on May 5th. As always, it is great talking to people who love C3s! I always enjoy seeing Scott! (especially since we share the same name!)

You guys have an awesome site here and I look forward to seeing you again at Funfest! It is going to be an even better party this year!

Welcome to the site Scott. Joel Adams, Adams Apple, is the resident transmission expert. A PM to him will get you started in the right direction.
Enjoy!
