Hello everyone,

I just found this site about a half hour ago, when I was searching sites in Google. I just bought my first Vette 2 days ago. It's a 1970 LS5 coupe with a 4-speed It has a built 468 in it, but came with the original #'s matching 454. My plan is to put it back to original and find a home for the 468. I'm new to this glass body thing, having had mostly a-bodies before(3 Buick gs's & an Olds 442). I'm looking forward to learning a lot about Vettes in general and C3's in particular

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.

welcome to the crazy shark infested waters of C3 corvettes.  I also don't know much, about anything really, but I have to ask, if the engine is an LS5 why is your name LS7, not that it really matters, what matters is that you are here and this is a great, no the best site for C3's, really family here, I am really just wondering.  WELCOME and come back a lot, it will be here new addiction, it became mine.

Larry

Hi Larry,

My name is LS7 because the person I bought the car from put a 468 in it. he says it puts out about 500 hp. I don't know if he is correct, but the car is VERY fast. The car is an original LS5 and I have the original motor, which is being rebuilt to stock specs. The previous owner put LS7 decals on the hood. I'll post a photo soon.

Jeff
