Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

When surfing the site recently, I happened to take a look at the member map. I was surprised to find a number of new members close by me that had joined in the last 2-4 months. I'll admit I don't do a good job of looking at each new member string, but I was surprised to see so many newbies close to me.
When I was fairly new to the site, I sent an invitation e-mail to those that were close by to a local cruise in. Now I plan to do the same, as well as to personally invite them to the annual gathering.
I encourage each of you to do the same and to reach out to these folks, welcome them and invite them to your next event!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

That's a great idea, Marshall! I'll definitely look into that. We need to get more locals in our cruises to the big area shows!
