Hello. Would like to introduce myself, Steve Colclasure from Illinois ( a long way from Chicago ). Always had several classic cars through my life and always wanted a C3 since High School. Retired now and took the plunge. Bought car on auction and drove it home ( 2 day drive ). I was a little worried at the start of drive but made it fine. Plan is to restore / restomod it over the next decade or so and leave it to my 2 year old grandson.
I have not searched all the posts yet, and I'm sure there is one on it, but it appears the fuel tank bladder has collapsed on the car. Curious on how big a job that is to get it out?

I personally have not tackled dropping the gas tank on a C3 (did do that during the restoration project on "BLKBRRD") but there should be lots of help here to guide you.

Greetings Sir, Well, as a small word of advice on the gas tank. If you are not going to do N.C.R.S. judging, take the tank out, push it out of the way, and order a new unit. Far better than the old one. I did it on a 75. New tank, sender/gauge, and all flexible fuel lines. Much better job. Do it Once, and be done.
