Carl,
You already have learned the most important thing about your Vette. That is, you have already learned that cruising on a Saturday night with your lady is well worth the long nights laying on cold concrete making improvements. It definitely takes you back to the younger days. There really is nothing else like it...well motorcycles run a close second. Enjoy every minute of it!
Welcome to the Shark Tank,
Scott

Ya Scott, I learned that the good days come after a little work is done. I bought a 69 El Camino a while back and when I put some time in on improvements each time I drove it during the past three years it got better and better. I think that's when I got the bug to move on to the Vette. I really like the feeling of being behind the wheel of a good old car from my younger years.
I will be selling the El Camino soon and using the money for the Vette so who knows I might run into Larry some time in September crusing Everett!

A purple Vette would be great!  I love that dark purple metallic!  Almost crash every time I see one!

Welcome Red Vette-76!  I got so excited about a purple Vette I almost forgot to say "HI".

Nice El Camino Carl! I'm sure you hate to part with it, but nothing beats driving a vette! Good luck with the upgrades, and welcome to the site.

By the way ......not all corvettes are red as some people suggest!@!@!

Karen, Here are some details for you to consider: This price of $6,000 is VERY REASONABLE with what I have put into it. All new Chrome and No rust. Runs strong! Engine / Drive Train / Exhaust:
350 C.I. / 390 H.P / Comp 270H CAM / Barry Grant Speed DEMON 750cfm carb
TH350 Transmission w/ B&M 2400 Stall Converter and shift kit
Rear end - 3.55 Posi-traction
Boxed rear control arms
Headers w/ Flow master 2 1/2” dual exhausts and 3” Race Cutouts
Malibu trim package with Front split seat from Ford Ranger pickup
Tachometer, AM / FM / CD Player
Paint “1970 Mopar - Plum Crazy Purple, base coat / clear coat”
I have stored the car at my sister-in-law's every winter and that's where it's now. The pictures you see are only 3 months old so that's what she looks like for real.
I will be selling her for real (with adds in paper etc) starting in March / April so you can think about for awhile if your truly enterested let me know and give me a phone number. I have listed it in the non-vette related fourm section on this web site under the non-vette for sale post.
