I have been a Corvette fan for many years but it wasn't until about 10 years ago that I really decided I was going to get one. But which one? The C3 was the most beautiful Corvette in my mind and the C5 was a great price for the amount of car you got. Plus it was the Corvette that was current when I got my license. Then there was the C4. The Corvette I grew up with (I was born in 84). The one that was the new Vette when I was old enough to start getting into cars. The prices were attainable and I started saving. After a few years and near misses I finally bought my first vette. A 92 Convertible with a 6 spd. The previous owner had installed a full exhaust as well as some other goodies and I did a few cosmetic things such as replace the sun visors and outer window stripping. I buffed the paint, put on some hood stripes and a spoiler and have loved it since. I do plan to sell it in the near future however as I really want a C3.
