Paul,
What were you trying to add into your signature? An image or a link? Anything with special characters? You can add most anything into your signature within the "laws" of the HTML world.
Click on the "Forum Codes" link just under the Post Reply text box to see most of the control syntax for placing things in your signature and threads. Let us know if you're still experiencing trouble updating your signature.

Thats what I was doing. I tried to add a link to my vette website and a small picture. Used the codes and just copied and pasted inserting my details in place of what was already there. Will try again.
OK just tried again, this time adding just occupation, dob and interests....same error.

I also have the same problem (it has been going on since I have been a member here)with the error coming up, I just never addressed it because I thought there was a different way to put a signature on.
