Well Philip, They may not be as valuable as a "Chromie" but they have their good points. I like the room inside on the back deck, much better for traveling, and you can almost feel the front fairing working at high speeds. The '82 is one of my favorite models.

Vette(s): 1971 350 270 hp roadster millivanilli red, black interior, white rag top, white hard top, I've had it 18 years and intend on giving it to my son for his 25th birthday(another 18 years from now)
Phil, 82 is one of my favorite C 3 I had the pleasure of delievering one to to motor trend in late 81 when I worked at Briggs chevy back in the day, Aside from the computer failing in the first 100 miles the 82 was a great machine. There are alot of really neat performance mods that you can do for little money on those cars.My best advise I can give you for now so you can get the most enjoyment is go over the whole fuel system.Replace all the fuel lines and clamps, and if it is in your budget install the 85 fuel pump, also get the gm factory service manuel so you can set up the duel bug sprayers so the car can run to the potental it has. Good luck with your "new" ride and hope to see it one day..........Bill
