He was probably none of those people that write and file complaints anywhere they can...
I grew up a few miles from Luke AFB and spent many hours sitting in my car or on my bike at the beginning of the runways watching the f-15/16 doing their touch and go's. Somehow made me feel safe!
That area around Luke has really grown but like you said, the base was there long before everything else was!!
