Rodney, to be honest, I don't think that particular machine is going to be useful for the older, non-electronic systems. You might try the "Test link program Monitors GM80-84" and see if it offers any of the tests/options you need, as far as simple scope functions, or timing light. There might in fact be a test program that is "generic" that will give you ignition scope functions only, or multi-meter capabilities. Without actually seeing the operating manual(s), or putting my hands on the machine and trying, I just couldn't say for sure.
