hii,
In todays world, they both are an integral part of cars. Common rail injection is a fuelling technique, whereas turbocharged induction is an air supply technique. Usually for extracting maximum performance, these days diesel engines come with both technologies clubbed. Common rail diesel injection system is for optimum injection of diesel in the combustion chamber.Turbocharger is used for forced industion of air into the air intake system using a compressor which gets power from the exhaust gas powered turbine.
Thanks!
