Gotta change the intake gaskets due to a water leak....its "gaskets only on the head" ....right?....meaning, just sealant on the block where it mates to the intake, and gaskets where the intake mates to the heads.

Also; this is a 5.7 Vortec with 83k I am thinking of putting new heads...anybody have experience with a certain brand?

Already have a tune, Granatelli MASS, BBK TB, K&N FIPK, under-drive pulleys, Spal Dual electric fans, TRUE dual exhaust with high flow cats...not looking for speed per se', but, I am alreading getting 24MPG on highway really dont want to sacrifice MPG without need.

Thanks,
Jim

Silicon sealer across the front/rear of the block, and composite gaskets on the heads.

Thanks....thats what I thought I remembered for the plastic intakes.

Thanks,

I'm not up on all of the newer stuff like that, myself, but I'm sure there will some with ideas/suggestions on head choices.
