PRESS RELEASE:
CORVETTE RACING AT SPA: JMR, Corvette Capture Class Win!
First class victory for Corvette at Spa 24 since 2009, follows on LMGT3 Le Mans win
STAVELOT, Belgium (June 28, 2026) – Johor Motorsports Racing’s No. 0 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R captured victory in the Pro-Am class of the 24 Hours of Spa on Sunday – the first win for Corvette Racing in the world’s biggest GT3-only event.
Ben Green, Jordan Love, HH Prince Jefri Ibrahim and HH Prince Abu Bakar teamed for the latest landmark victory for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The quartet won at Spa two weeks after TF Sport’s class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the first win there for the GT3-spec Corvette.
It also is the first Spa 24 win for a Corvette since 2009 when a PK Carsport-entered Corvette C6.R won overall. The Corvette Z06 GT3.R debuted at Spa last year in the hands of both JMR and Steller Motorsport.
Sunday’s class win for JMR added to the list of notable victories for the third-year Corvette GT3. In addition to this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Corvette captured the GTD victory at the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona in the hands of AWA – now 13 Autosport in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship – and Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports won in GTD PRO earlier this month on the streets of Detroit in Chevrolet’s home race.
JMR’s victory added another strong result to its Intercontinental GT Challenge résumé for this season after the Spa-winning quartet opened the year with a runner-up Pro-Am finish at the Bathurst 12 Hours.
The progress at Spa for the JMR Corvette was steady from the start. The No. 0 started ninth in Pro-Am – 62nd overall – and had to serve an early-race penalty for contact but ran the rest of the way trouble-free. By the six-hour mark, JMR had moved to fifth in class and barely off the lead lap. At halfway, the team had moved up to second.
The team took the lead for good inside the final eight hours as Green and Love – the team’s two highest-graded drivers – combined to finish to the end and weathered multiple safety-car periods in the final six hours. Green set the fastest race lap in Pro-Am – 2:17.869 (114.36 mph) – as the No. 0 Corvette advanced to 29th overall and completed 531 laps.
In the Gold Cup class, Steller Motorsports’ No. 24 Corvette finished seventh in class after recovering from an early-race mechanical issue and some late-race contact. Dennis Lind, Antione Doquin, Mikkel Pedersen and Lenny Ried combined to complete 485 laps in the race as the team finished their second straight Spa 24 Hours with their Corvette.
ANDREA HIDALGO, CORVETTE RACING PROGRAM MANAGER: “Congratulations to Ben, Jordan, Prince Jefri, Prince Abu Bakar and everyone at JMR on the team’s first win at the 24 Hours of Spa and the first in this race for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. This continues a strong list of results for the Corvette GT3 with victories within the last month at Detroit in IMSA, Le Mans and now Spa. Winning this race requires a high level of effort and execution, which is exactly what the JMR team did in the pitlane, on strategy and behind the wheel. We are very proud and pleased to support and be part of this tremendous achievement for JMR and Corvette Racing.”
SPA 24 HOURS CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R DRIVER WIN QUOTES
BEN GREEN, NO. 0 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “A great result for everyone. I’m just immensely proud of everyone at Johor Racing. It’s their second year of competition and second year trying the Spa 24 with the Corvette. It’s such a fantastic result. Everyone has worked so hard in the background. My three teammates did a fantastic job, as well. We made it hard for ourselves at one point but came back in the end! So I’m just so proud and happy for everyone.
“It’s fantastic for everyone. It’s fantastic for GM to be here and to see the Corvette up on the podium is a great sight. I’m sure we’ll see them on the podium again soon in the future. The race was chaotic from the beginning. It was a challenging condition for everyone. It was a tough fight the whole way through. We had some penalties come in the first half and were on the back foot. But we knuckled down, drove good stints and kept it clean and managed to come out on top at the end.”
JORDAN LOVE, NO. 0 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “This is extremely special. I can’t begin to thank these legends (Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim) standing next to us, and all the boys and girls at JMR who stand behind us. We wouldn’t be here today without this whole team. How far the team has come as a collective in the last couple of years is really impressive. To be at Le Mans two weeks ago competing and now to back it up here and end up with a win at Spa is extremely special. I can’t thank them enough to be part of it.
“What a race! It certainly was a tough one. To come out with a win is a tremendous and satisfying feeling. I couldn’t be happier for the team and to be part of it for a few years now. To come out on top really means a lot. This is the biggest GT3 race of the year and is a 24-hour sprint. This year in the heat was extremely difficult. To finish on the podium made all those hard hours in the dark of the night well and truly worth it.”
HH PRINCE JEFRI IBRAHIM, NO. 0 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “(The heat) felt like home for me! It was really hot but thankfully our air conditioning in the car worked really well. I’m so happy for everyone. We had a few hurdles at the start but everyone pushed hard until the end. We never gave up. It’s our third Spa 24 and we’ve finally won it! I’m incredibly proud of everyone involved – the whole team and my teammates. We worked so hard for this one… I’m so happy.
“What makes this special is that this is the biggest GT3 race in the world. Being here for the second time with Corvette and winning with Corvette is a dream for us. The team did an incredible job. The feelings are just over the moon. Partnering with GM has been really great for the team. We had a few wins in Asia, a good result in Bathurst and we were just in Le Mans and representing the brand there. That support has been great.”
HH PRINCE ABU BAKAR IBRAHIM, NO. 0 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “This is unbelievable. This is my second time at the Spa 24 Hours. We had a tough time last year but now here we are as winners of this race in Pro Am, and I’m so very grateful. It was a chaotic race throughout the night. Every hour seemed like that but well done to the team and all my teammates. This is a race that we’ve never won and our first 24-hour win. We didn’t see this coming in just our second year with Corvette, to be honest. But I’m really happy to be able to do this with my brother and with the Corvette.”
“We had a few penalties in the race, but the hope of getting a podium early was quite slim. But everyone worked hard, and my teammates drove amazing. We just kept chipping away every hour and ended up winning the race. It’s unbelievable… it still hasn’t kicked in!”
