Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.

Ah well, we had our first real winter storm last thursday. They put some salt on the roads. So, that'll be it for my Corvette this year.Unhappy

I did the following to it for winter storage;
Checked all fluids
Oil change
Topped off fuel tank + fuel stabilizer
Dryer sheets in and around the car
Moth balls around garage floor
Put on car cover

I store mine in an unheated detached garage.
I start it up & let it run for about 15-20 minutes every 10 days or so.
I pump the brakes alot & pull it back and forth in the driveway, weather permitting.

Did I miss anything?

Kevin, you can also cut up some bars of Irish Spring soap, and leave it inside the interior. The critters don't like the scent........(I do and you might like it also) I guess the dryer sheets and the moth balls do pretty much the same. If you stored your baby in a car bag...you could also add dessicant bags to absorb any moisture. Another thing that can be done is; plastic put under the care, where the moisture comes up from. Keep those brakes pumped, as you said you would. Thumbs%20Up

I'll give the plastic on the floor a try.
Prolly Home Depot or Lowes will have something that'll work.
Thanks for the good idea!

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
Keep a stethascope with you just to check that it still has a heartbeat.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

I feel sorry for you guys that live in the "snow belt". I think the last snow we had in eastern NC was in 1989. We're fortunate to be able to drive our cars year-round. Maybe it's because we live in the "bible belt". Big%20smile
