Does any one know how to "whiten up" the white letters and outer ring on white walls? Mine are dirty. I tried "Bleche White" and it didn't do much.

Thanks |headscratch|

Try using either S.O.S pad or a BRILLO, I use them on my
raised white letter B.F.Goodrich and they come out really nice.

I agree...using a dish type soap pad such as SOS does a great job. Use a good tire dressing afterwards.

Scouring powder like comet or ajax and a stiff brush work pretty well too.

Tilex spray tub cleaner (in the red bottle) and Scotch-Brite work with a lot less scrubing than an SOS pad.

That works for me, too.

Just be careful not to use too much 'elbow-grease' when using either an abrasive cleaner or scrubber. You don't want to scuff or damage the white rubber.

A LOT OF CAR CARE CENTERS SELL A "BRASS BRUSH". I HAVE USED ONE FOR YEARS, SPRAY ON ANY GOOD CLEANER, AND JUST SCRUB THE WHITE WALL/LETTERS. SIMPLE GREEN WORKS WELL FOR ME. THE BRUSH WILL NOT HARM THE RWL IN ANY WAY.
GOOD LUCK. BEEN USING THESE FOR 20+ YEARS. |thumb|
