Recently purchased a Z06 with a black stinger hood decal.
Does it hurt to put wax on the decal or should it be avoided?
Does one wax work better than another on the decal?
Any help would be appreciated.

Guess it would depend on the decal since aftermarket, but I use wax on the Hash Mark decals on my GrandSport and it doesn't affect it in any way that I can see. Friend of mine has an 07 ZO6 with aftermarket stripes down center of whole car, and he waxes them, but again, beleive it will depend on the quality of the decal. If of good quality vinyl, you should be OK I would think.

It is a factory installed option so I assume it will take wax.
I will do a little test and see what happens.
