I searched some old posts and saw Simple Green recommended for light underhood cleanup. Is this product OK to use on aluminum components?

Thanks,

Tom

If you are worried about polished alum. turning on you try Safeway stores household cleaner, its green, smells like Simple Green, but not as strong, or 409, I use them on carpets and they work fine, Greased Lighting is real strong, smells like it has a low grade acid and takes the color out of carpet, automotive cleaners like Gunk, will turn polished alum.
