I removed my wheels, sanded the area, masked the discs and used a high temp paint as close to the gray/bluish GM paint as possible. It makes a hugh difference. I bet someone will sell a paint matching the original hub paint color on C6's eventually.

My 07 has not had the rust problem but my friends 08 did have this same problem. Our local Chevrolet dealer cleaned and painted, or had painted, the rusted areas! It was very unsightly and should not have been an issue. If your still on warranty insist that your dealer take care of this problem!
