Hey everyone,
I keep on asking about Liquid Glass because I found a place that's selling this stuff really cheap.
What's everyone's opinion about LG? How about it's claims that you don't need to use it again for a year?!

Personally, I have never used the stuff.
Hubby and I were diehard Meguiers fans until about a year ago...then discovered Zaino.

I've used nearly everything out there. But will stick with Zaino when she comes home. Just my opinion.

Vette(s): 1978 INDY PACE CAR-ALL ORIGINAL 2277 DOCUMENTED MILES
LIQUID GLASS CAME OUT ABOUT 15 OR SO YEARS AGO. I THINK IT USED TO COST ABOUT 20$ A CAN. IT WAS ADVERTISED ON INFOMERCIALS. I THINK THEY USED TO SHOW A CAR WITH LIGHTER FLUID BEING LIT ON IT TO SHOW PROTECTIVE POWER. I HAVE A 10TH ANN. TRANS AM I USED TO USE LIQUID GLASS ON IT BACK THEN.IT WAS PRETTY GOOD BACK IN ITS TIME. I STOPPED USING IT A LONG TIME AGO. I WOULDN'T USE IT NOW ON MY CORVETTE. IT HAD ITS TIME AND NEW PRODUCTS HAVE TO BE BETTER. I WAS GOING TO USE MEGUIRES ON MY NEWLY PURCHASED 78 PACE CAR-IT WORKS GREAT ON MY EVERYDAY USE CAR A 88 CAMARO-A COUPLE MEMBERS SAID TO TRY ZAINO SO I THINK I WILL. YOU CAN GET LIQUID GLASS AT PEP BOYS, IF ANYONE WANTS TO TRY IT.

I used to use Meguiars on the CE until I was told about Zaino. Now all I use is Zaino, even on my wife's minivan!!!

HI,
I REALIZE THIS IS AN OLDER POST BUT I COULD NOT JUST CLICK AWAY WITHOUT TELLING YOU THIS. IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD DEAL ON IT, USE IT AS THE UP SIDE IS THAT FOR EVERY APPLICATION, YOU GAIN A CLEARCOAT. 7 APP'S EQUALS 7 COATS OF CLEARCOAT SHINE AND DEPTH. I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT IN THE PAST AND THIS IS FACT NOT JUST HYPE. I HAVE THIS IN MY PRIVATE STASH, I USED LG FOR THE BASE AND THEN MIXED OTHER TO IT.I ONLY USE THIS CONCOCTION FOR SHOWS.
THE DOWN SIDE IS THAT THERE ARE COMPARABLE PRODUCTS OUT THERE THAT ARE MUCH MORE EASILY REMOVED AND CAN BE READILY FOUND,LG I HAVE NOT SEEN ON A SHELF IN AWHILE. I CURRENTLY USE THE MEQUIRES GOLD FOR INBETWEEN COATINGS AND IT IS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THE LG.
SO, LIKE I SAID IF YOU CAN GET IT CHEAP, THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT A CHEAP PRODUCT, IT IS ALL IN THE TIME YOU WANT TO PUT IN.IF YOUR LOOKING TO WAX YOUR CAR ONCE A YEAR THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR YOU.

Thanks for the input. That's the reason I was asking about LG, I found it pretty cheap (I think 40% off or something) at a local Discount Auto Parts store when they stopped carrying it and so they had all these left-overs that they were trying to get rid of. I stopped by that store last week, all gone though :(
ah well, I can't wait until I paint the Vette and get my hands on some of this magical zaino.

What is Zaino?!?! *GASP*
You mean you don't know?!
I'm just playing... I actually have never used Zaino, but have heard nothing but awesome stuff about it... do a forum search on "ZAINO" and you'll get a million posts and you can read all about it.
