Well I have had a complete car cover fail! I put the cover on several weeks ago and haven't touched it..I know I haven't driven it for over a month now! I took the cover off Sunday only to find all kinds a grey and other crap coming off the cover..so off to the burn pile it goes and on with something new..I was looking at one of those soft deals that are indoors only..MAM has them on sale now with one of those email specials..they don't make them in Yellow but I think a black one will work fine..can't say I didn't try and save it ..must be just falling apart.

Rich, sorry to hear that. I have a flannel lined cover (Tan) from Mid America (old MAM?) I have had it for 28 years or so and it's still perfect. It is indoors only. I have a cheap universal one on the Red car but once that gets new paint I'll buy another Flannel one for it also.

The White car likes the Flannel, it gets all giddy an snuggly when I cover it up

Hi Rich, The plan is to move to the beach! We've been looking at Nags Head or Elizabeth City, NC. This place has a large workshop in back but no vehicle access. First $250K takes it! Thanks.

If you haven't sprung for a new cover yet check out California Car Cover Company's line. Bought the indoor flannel lined cover for "BIGBRRD" and am very happy with it.

I have looked at many car covers over the last few months..haven't had anything on the car since April..it's in the garage and gets washed for no apparent reason all the time..I may go with a big bed sheet and be done with it.

We think alike. I have never used a car cover on any of my toys. Just never seen the reasoning behind it if it's garaged. Now garage means a place for your car, not bikes, lawnmowers, unused furniture, etc.

Well I got two kids bikes in there and a 46 inch Cub Cadet in the that gets washed like the car and a old wood boat next to the car..I got some stuff in there but not all that much..a storage shed type structure on the side yard will remove the boat and tractor..kids stuff will be there for another 12 years at least..they live by the two foot rule and haven't got fingerprints all over it..just don't think I need a high dollar cover for a car that is in the garage.
