Just a weird question here..I got a car cover with the car but don't use it because its to dusty..its a grey material double thickness with small holes in it on the outside layer ..it does have hold down holes that are plastic reinforced in the middle of the car..it has no tags and only has front and back written on it..it has mirror pockets..it feels sticky kinda..as far as I know this car was never outside in rain let alone stored that way..ok the question is can I wash this thing somehow?or should I just get a new one?

Rich take it to a laundry mat and put it in one of the oversize washers, then bring it home and let it air dry. My flannel one gets dusty after every few years also. About 3 bucks will cover you.

man you missed some good eatin !.......

I wash mine also, just don't put it in the drier! Air dry only.

Wash mine also. Add a little soap and it will clean up just fine. Air dryed for a afternoon.

Another beautiful day in Southern Indiana.

I have a Wolf cover.  Called company to ask about washing.  They indicated to use a couple cups of Simple Green cleaner in one of the large washers at the laundromat.  Then air dry.  Seemed to work great.

Take care

Wow simple green sounds a little strong but if that's what they recommended I am sure it works fine..I just needed to get that dust and bug remains off..I did it with just water in the wash in the gentle cycle and it didn't come apart and isn't dusty anymore..I didn't want to wash it because then I will use it to cover it for the winter time..I guess I will keep it in the boat until after the Chip show then we will be done driving it for a while..that really stinks..I did find out that the guy I bought it from was a member of this site in 2002..it had 59k on it then and when I bought it the car had 62k on it..he really didn't drive it much..I put 3k on it since May..sad thing is I will drive it more next year after doing the clutch and suspension work over the winter..look out miles! I want to move south for no other reason to be able to have fun in it longer. The kids love it.

Well, my wife washed the cover here at home today and I hung it out all day to dry. Turned out great and even smells fresh! Now I can cover it without leaving all the dust on the car.

I just put it in the dryer (no heat) just air fluff. Takes the dust out of the cover.
