Anyone have recommendation(s) regarding cleaning and care of the convertible top? I've got an '06 machine silver, red with a black top. Picked it up at the Corvette Museum middle of October,2005. Has just over 500 miles on it.

YES, I HAVE O6 VERT AND USE A PRODUCT CALLED 303. IT IS A TWO STEP PROCESS WITH CLEANER THEN PROTECTOR.
IT IS FANTASTIC PROTECTANT AND LAST's ABOUT A YEAR. EVERYTHING BEADS UP INCLUDING BIRD DROPPINGS IF YOU ARE UNLUCKY ENOUGH TO get dropped on. Cover the rear window if you can becuse once it gets on, you have to use goop or something smilar to get protectant off. I learned the hard way but it cccame off window.
You can do a google search on 303 convertible cleaner and find where to buy over the net... about 20 to $30.
Worth it... dont go low price one step.

I have been using Raggtop on both the C3 and C6 softtops - both are black. I got the kit at the National Museum and would highly recommend it.

I agree that 303 is great stuff but I have one small problem and I'm hoping you can offer suggestions. When I apply the second spray it always oversprays and goes onto my nice clean windows. I've tried the obvious by putting beach towels over the windows but there always seems some greasy overspray. How do you handle this? Your help is appreciated

I use Ragtop and have had no problems, great product. When I spray the sealer on I mask off the rear window and use towels over the windshield, side doors and under the rear of the top where it lays on the deck.

I agree, having a long term usage of Raggtop. My Black-on-Black remains fresh and new looking. Easy to use as well.

I have three Corvette convertibles, two w black tops and one w tan top. The two step 303 product works quite well.
