options

does anybody know of the options packages that are going to be available for the z06?

I notice the colors portion of your post was cut off. Do you know if White will be offered on the new Z06? 2001 was the only year that white was available. I think that it one of the best colors.

The info wasn't cut off, it just has not been announced yet from GM.

I received a single page "2006 Corvette Z06 Select Specifications" brochure from Chevrolet. It lists two Preferred Equipment Groups (PEG), 1LZ and 2LZ. It appears that 1LZ is the base configuration, as it lists features such as:

DIC
Floormats
Leather-wrapped steering wheel
Six-way power driver and manual passenger seat
Halogen fog lamps
TS automatic headlamps
Tire pressure monitor system
Painted wheels
Goodyear Eagle F1 SC EMT tires
etc.

2LZ adds the following to 1LZ / Standard Equipment:

Auto dimming mirror w/ compass
Bose audio (w/ 6-disc changer-except w/ DVD Navigation)
Heated seats
HomeLink transmitter
Luggage shade and parcel net
Memory package
Power telescoping steering column
Driver and passenger side impact air bags

The following options must be explicitly added to either PEG:

Navigation system (requires Bose less 6-disc changer for 1LZ)
Front LP bracket (auto added in states requiring)
Polished wheels

Colors currently listed for 2006 Z06 are:

Machine Silver Metallic
Victory Red
Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic
Le Mans Blue Metallic
Velocity Yellow
Black

No white.
