I plan on keeping my '03 Anniversary Edition Convertible as a sunny weather "parade" car. If the C6 is everything David Hill says it will be, then I would like to buy the C6 Z06 when they come out. I have family in the business, so access shouldn't be a problem...paying for it MIGHT be!!!

As long as they do not raise the price too much, I am getting one of the first C6 Z06's.

As temping as the C5 is, I kept waiting for 400+HP in a targa top and never got my wish. Looks like the "base" C6 will accomodate me. I'm thinking mid or late first production year. I'll let all you guys get the recalls out of the way.

I'm waiting to see them first. Then I'll be looking at the hi-po version, as soon as it's out.

Hill has said publically (march birthday bash at NCM) that the release sequence will be; Coupe, later the vert, and a year after intro, Z06. My bet is that this is a marketing contrived sequence. We will see vettes on the cover of all major car rags for most of the year.

Speaking of marketing contrived...I am dreading the problem of only favorite dealers getting their allocations up front. I will be buying one from a local dealer and getting the museum delivery. I had an approved order on my C3 only to be jerked around in the allocation que. I might have to wait for the second year.

I'll get a second year Z06, just to make sure the bugs are worked out.
